I grew up in Northern Ontario and currently live in Halton Region with my wife and my dog. My personal experiences dealing with addiction and recovery are what brought me to my profession as a therapist. I believe in a collaborative approach with my clients and use an individualized approach. I use cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness approaches, somatic techniques, visualization, and solution-focused therapies.
I received my diploma in Social Service Work at Sheridan College. Then, I received my Bachelor of Social Work at Laurier University and my Master of Social Work at McMaster University.
